An American basketball team that consists of players all over 7 ft. tall is the brainchild of Jerry Saperstein, the son of Abe Saperstein founder of the Harlem Globetrotters. Mr. Saperstein approached me to design a vintage poster for a keepsake of the team. The project grew into designing a brochure to promote the team to overseas contacts. Historical images depicting the Sapersteins with President Nixon, and their players were used to show the heritage and esteem of this new sports quest.
